Prescale Film
Prescale film is a method of measuring contact
linear and planar pressures. The product is a thin film consisting of
micro-encapsulated colour forming dyes and colour developing chemicals.
When pressure is applied to the film, a red colour impression is formed in
varying density according to the amount of pressure and pressure distribution.
The film can be used in both stationary and moving applications to measure
pressures up to 18,500 PSI.
The Prescale Film system is complete with a range of portable and PC-based
analysis instruments.
